A Bit About Us

Hey, I’m Lauren.

I’m a registered nurse, a mum, and the founder of Rainbow Rounds. I work in a paediatric intensive care unit, which means my days swing from heartbreaking to hilarious and back again before lunch. I’ve spent years surrounded by beeping monitors, cold coffee, and uniforms that look like they were designed to crush the human spirit. Somewhere between a 3 a.m. code and yet another KitKat from the vending machine, I decided it didn’t have to be that bleak.

I’ve always loved bright, bold and colourful clothes that make you feel like yourself when the world around you feels sterile. So I started Rainbow Rounds. Scrubs that aren’t just functional but fun. Scrubs that remind you you’re still a person under all that PPE. If you’re spending twelve hours keeping people alive, you deserve something that gives you a dopamine hit just by putting it on.

This brand isn’t about perfection. It’s about real people, the ones who show up exhausted, covered in mystery fluids, and still find a way to make someone laugh. It’s about bringing colour into clinical spaces, choosing joy on purpose, and remembering that self-expression isn’t unprofessional. It’s human.
